It's Mealtime!

Hello All,

Toon Troop has been hard at work working on animation soon to be featured on the website. In the meantime, check out the latest design. It's called "Mealtime", and there's actually a nice little back story with this one. One morning a couple of weeks ago, I was heading to work and had a few things on my mind. I was walking down a New York City street and was thinking on the Lord. I prayed to Him and in my prayer asked if He could give me some sort of indication, some encouragement that my prayer would be answered. Immediately after the prayer ended I heard a noticeable chirp, chirp, chirp as if something was trying to get my attention. I looked down and saw this little bird eating off of the ground in the midst of a busy rush hour sidewalk. Believe it or not, seeing that reassured me, because the scripture Luke 12:22-24 came to mind whereas Jesus encourages his disciples that they shouldn't worry about where things should come from, whether it's food, clothing etc. If the Father tends to the needs of the simplest creatures such as birds, surely He can and will tend to the needs of all that call unto Him, so why worry, the birds don't. I saw that and took encouragement from it, as simple as it was, I took it as a "still small voice from the Lord" and thanked Him for it. I felt that this would be a great inspiration for a design, I hope you all enjoy it.

No Sin Permitted Beyond This Point!

This is a new design of Toon Troop. Which is a warning sign design of "not allowing sin in the zone of the believer". The character is suppose to be a representation of filth and sin, not a demon (we don't like drawing cartoons of those guys). Keep checking back when you can, as more designs will continue to be uploaded. Best all and God Bless.

Timeless Treasures Closes it's NYC Store!

Timeless Treasures, formally known as Christian Publications, in NYC is closing down its NYC store. This is pretty upsetting, this store has served the Christian community for so long, the thought of not having them around is like losing an old friend. I've gotten to know many of the folks there in the store and have grown to consider them friends. They've been a strong supporter of local Christian organizations such as Toon Troop, it's a real loss to our community when businesses such as this are no longer around. Saints, we really need to support our Christian businesses, they contribute to spread the work and the Word of Jesus. Faith come by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, if our outlets, our voices are no longer there, where would the hearing be? How would they hear to establish faith? Let's remember to support our businesses, our ministers, our missionaries, our teachers, we need them, their all voices by which the Word is sent. Thankfully Timeless Treasures has another location in Brooklyn, NY. Saints lets support and keep our businesses afloat. And to Timeless Treasures personally, Toon Troop supports you.

"I Love Jesus This Much!"

We just tried to come up with a way that really illustrates how much a person should love Jesus. Notice that the ruler goes on and on and on. "Move Mountain, Move!"

This image is a visual take on the scripture Matthew 17:20 where Jesus is saying that if we have faith in Him totaling the size of a grain of mustard seed, we would have the ability to tell a mountain to move out of the way, or any other obstacle for that matter. I personally like this design alot, its artwork I find is very descriptive and corresponds with the tagline well. "If You Won't, Then I Will"

Jesus said in Luke 19:39-40 that "...if these hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." This design is a fun take on that scripture reference and a personal reminder to praise the Lord.
